Albuquerque Silvers
The Albuquerque Silvers were a member of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) from 1983 - 1985 and played at the Albuquerque Civic Auditorium. They were first known as the Alberta Dusters, then the Las Vegas Silvers. They became the Albuquerque Silvers and moved to New Mexico after their franchise ran into financial difficulties in Las Vegas (figures, right?). Unfortunately for the Silvers, the move did not help and they finished with only 29 wins in two seasons. After the 1984-85 season, the team folded after just 2 short years in New Mexico.
