Dayton Rockettes
The Dayton Rockettes were an original franchise in the WBL, playing in the 1978-79 season at Hara Arena. The team had a wild season that started with firing its head coach, Linda Mann, after two games. Later in the year, the league would repossess the team from the owner due to financial difficulties. The team would finish out the year 12-22 and fold at season’s end.
