Triple Cities Flyers
The Triple Cities Flyers were one of a number of teams that came and went from the small Eastern Basketball Association (EBA) in the 1960s and 1970s. They began as the New Haven Elms in 1965 and didn’t fare too well on the court. They relocated to Bridgeport to become the Flyers in 1967, but would only last 12 games before packing up and heading for Binghamton where they were the Binghamton Flyers or Tri-Cities Flyers. After three seasons in Binghamton, they would move yet again, heading to New Jersey to become the Trenton/Hamilton Pat Pavers.
